My man Igwe, that turned to a brothers, I don't know why God allows good people go to him early. You were always the life of the party, the first hypeman in Uyo. You took me in like a brother, my go to guy, my confidant, my adviser, my wife still cries because you promised her you were coming to see our kids that you've never seen, but not this way, my mother in-law, your girlfriend still cries for you, you found your way into my family and left unannounced. E pain me o. Nobody to abuse me when I tell you I'm broke, before sending something, even while far away, you still give my wife order for cakes and small chops. Because of you, people still think I'm Igbo and still ask me after my brother, that's you, till today. You left a big void in me that will be very hard to fill. Fare the well my brother, I miss you my man. Rest well till we meet again. Love you till tomorrow... Collapse

You are truly missed by your loved ones , family and by those who even knew you casually because you had a larger than life personality. We are reminded again of Romans 8: 38-39, that neither death or life can separate us from the love of God. So we will not mourn like those without hope but believing in the Love of Christ that God called you home.... Collapse

One year has gone by so quick, yet we cannot forget you, Uche, for your vibrant and infectious attitude and zest. You were always respectful, diligent, focused, attentive and ready to dish out advice and support as needed. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. I still replay the video of you and Vivian dancing to owambe in our living room while celebrating my MIL’s 90th birthday. You are missed so dearly, but God loves you more. Keep on resting in the Lord.... Collapse

It’s been 365 days since I lost a dear brother and friend. Uche’s passing left a gaping void in my heart and in the lives of those who knew him. He was a man of many parts. We shared many memories and had so much in common. I still find it very hard to think of him in the past tense. God bless your soul mi broda.... Collapse

In Loving Memory of Mr. Gerald Uche Igwe As we honor the memory of Uche Igwe( Uchman) as i call him, it’s hard to believe that its already a year has since we lost him. Uche touched the lives of so many with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit and a heart that always exudes happiness. His hearty laughter still echoes in many hearts, and his generosity continues to inspire us. I remember his passion for life, his dedication and jealousy over his family and friends, and his commitment to making the lives of people better in whatever we he could. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the countless memories we share about our moments with him. As we reflect on the year gone by, let us carry forward his legacy of compassion and strength. May we honor him by cherishing one another, just as he cherished us. Rest in peace, dear Gerald. You are forever in our hearts.... Collapse

A crown of righteousness

“I have fought the good fight, I have
finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

2 Timothy 4:7

United with Christ Jesus

But now you have been united
with Christ Jesus. Once you were
far away from God, but now you have
been brought near to him through
the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:13

Rejoicing in the Lord

A happy heart is good medicine,
and a joyful mind causes healing.

Proverbs 17:22

Victorious In Christ

In your majesty, ride forth to victory,
defending truth, humility, and justice;
let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.

Psalm 45:4

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul,
‘therefore I will hope in him.’

Lamentations 3:22-26.
