You only need to meet Uche once and you cannot forget him. The first time I attended Christ The King Anglican Church, his presence in the service exuded confidence that was infectious. WIth time I got to know him as a person who walked his talk and talked his walk. You were not in doubt about his position on issues. Most impressive was his willingness to pivot from his position to back new ideas once he is fully convinced. He was a major pillar of CKC. Uche's presence alone with his family formed a "quorum". To say we will miss him at CKC is a gross understatement. We will find solace in Psalm 116:15 which says "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Uche just transited from A saint militant to a saint triumphant, now cheering us to run our race well and finish well. Dear brotherat the resurrection we would see you playing your usual role of selfless service to the congregation. Till then, rest in perfect peace.... Collapse

But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14.
