I write to convey my heartfelt condolences to your entire family on the demise of your brother Uche Igwe which sad event took place currently. Death being a necessary end which every mortal must experience, no doubt creates a great vacuum, which can hardly be filled. There is no doubt that his death will be a traumatic experience to your family, but you should all be consoled by the fact that he has only gone to join his Creator. It is therefore, my prayer that God will strengthen you and the entire family on this time of grief and sorrow and furthermore, give you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May the soul of your departed brother rest in the bosom of the Lord. Yours sincerely Chigozie Okafor (NAU Redemption choir)... Collapse

Life is a mystery. Death is an end to this mystery. How can one fully comprehend your death more so that you are a source of joy and laughter to your mother, siblings, spouse and children on the one hand and friends on the other hand. I didn't get to know you that much on a personal level but I had a first hand information about your amiable personality from your younger sister (Dr Victoria) whose judgement or impression about most things are faultless. Through this lens, I can see that your death is irreplaceable and thus, a vacuum has been created. Death as a mystery can't fill this vacuum, hence I pray that your entire family and friends alike should have the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. REST PEACEFULLY in the BOSOM of the LORD till we MEET to PART NO MORE Amen... Collapse

My best friend and my best pal.... So full of life and love.... O death, where is thy sting? … I am yet to write my tribute.... I cannot reconcile the fact that I will not see you ever again in person but only in my soul.... Who will tease me... Who will encourage me to be more social.... Who will say...."Stop thinking like that...." Who will bring out laughter from my soul when I am down.... Who understands me better than anyone as we share so many characteristic traits.... I can go on and on...….and darkness will pass by, and I will still be asking.... who will?... O grave, where is thy victory?... When I am so down, I ask GOD why?... When I am not so down, I ask YOU why?... One thing I am sure of is that God owes a debt and to pay this debt.... -we will be siblings in my next world.... -you are watching over us with your LOVE and LAUGHTER…. I pray that your "trademark DNA" - family, friendship and loyalty should always be one's essence of life..... will be written indelibly in our heart, be with us now and go before us, forever and ever, Amen. Always, Your Little Sister, Chioma... Collapse

But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14.
