It’s been 365 days since I lost a dear brother and friend. Uche’s passing left a gaping void in my heart and in the lives of those who knew him. He was a man of many parts. We shared many memories and had so much in common. I still find it very hard to think of him in the past tense.
God bless your soul mi broda.... Collapse

In Loving Memory of Mr. Gerald Uche Igwe
As we honor the memory of Uche Igwe( Uchman) as i call him, it’s hard to believe that its already a year has since we lost him. Uche touched the lives of so many with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit and a heart that always exudes happiness. His hearty laughter still echoes in many hearts, and his generosity continues to inspire us.
I remember his passion for life, his dedication and jealousy over his family and friends, and his commitment to making the lives of people better in whatever we he could. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the countless memories we share about our moments with him.
As we reflect on the year gone by, let us carry forward his legacy of compassion and strength. May we honor him by cherishing one another, just as he cherished us.
Rest in peace, dear Gerald. You are forever in our hearts.... Collapse
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul,
‘therefore I will hope in him.’
Lamentations 3:22-26.
